How to Expand in this Economic Crisis

Monday, October 31st, 2011

Unfortunately, many businesses are affected by the economic crisis. Everyone is trying to cut costs and save wherever they can. While other businesses are trapped laying off employees or shortening business hours, do not cut back on your marketing budgets. Marketing and promoting are both strategies executed to bring in business. Attract new clients and customers by investing in fresh marketing campaigns. Something to consider, if you haven’t already done so, is video marketing.

Video marketing is an investment worth its dollars because it is a product that could be distributed affordable, informs visually, and can be optimized online for search engines.

Video marketing opens opportunities to expand into different audiences. Videos are being shared through the Internet on a daily basis, by fans and potential customers themselves. This will drive more traffic to your website which, in turn, will increases potential sales as well as build your branding.

Because the competition is continually growing and other companies are developing more video content, it is important to keep up and take advantage of this opportunity. If you are already behind on your video marketing, you could be losing money in the long run as you are left behind.

There are lots of free and affordable avenues for distributing your video content. YouTube and other social media websites are great resources for free viral marketing. Taking On New Clients

Friday, September 2nd, 2011

Not all potential clients are profitable for business.
Marketers will suggest focusing energy and attention on customers or clients who are within your targeted audience. Perhaps to you this seems counterintuitive. You might ask why your company shouldn’t service anyone and everyone who calls in, as this would seemingly equal more opportunity for capturing new clients. But this mode of thinking isn’t exactly in line with smart and strategic business.

One reason to market a target audience is to attract potential clients who will keep your business on the path to pursuing your mission. Other clients likely end up as a distraction from the type of business you want to serve.

The wrong clients will drain your resources, ending in time and money spent on fruitless efforts. Your business image is also associated with the type of clients you serve, so maintaining a certain standard for the kind of business you bring in speaks to your brand identity. These are important ideas to remember while taking on new projects.

Taking On New Clients

At Seven Pictures Film & Video Production, we fully invest our assets in the success of your production. As part of our business ethic, we take full responsibility for the execution of your video and truly extend our production team’s energy while striving for your project’s perfection. This can be a rewarding and worthwhile effort. It can also be an exhausting one.

Experience has proven that it is not beneficial to take on just any client seeking our professional assistance. It becomes a wasted effort when time and energy is spent on conceptualizing a production and a client does not follow through with the project. It is important to sense these clients ahead of time to avoid this situation and to save energy and resources for serious potential clients who are ready to do business.

A client of Seven Pictures can expect commitment and loyalty from day one of conception to the delivery of the final product. That very same commitment and loyalty is expected in return as part of the practice of good business ethics, which Seven Pictures stands firmly behind.

Video In The Boardroom: Part Two

Thursday, June 9th, 2011

An ongoing series brought to you by Seven Pictures

A recent Forbes survey of senior executives across the country revealed that an astounding 65% visit a vendor’s website after seeing a video of the vendor’s product on YouTube or other media outlets. This is great news for your business! What this means for you is that it’s concretely proven that video drives traffic to your business’ website, which is essentially invaluable for your business’ exposure.

But there’s even bigger news. Further survey results indicated that younger executives (those under 40) are more fully engaged than their older counterparts with this type of media, meaning they are more likely to make a purchase, call a vendor or respond to an ad based solely on watching a company’s video.

Simply put, this survey tells us that if you want to communicate in today’s business environment, you need video to stay relevant. It’s no longer a luxury, but now a necessity for the continued growth of your business.

At Seven Pictures, corporate video is our passion and main area of expertise. We offer quality production of tasteful video with a cinematic touch for you to have on your business website, YouTube or other video sharing sites, which is a great way to increase brand exposure, as well as create new destinations for your marketing video.

What is most important in marketing?

Saturday, June 20th, 2009

Someone asked me “What is most important in marketing?”

The most important and most basic is to promote and keep promoting. That is what works. The problem is, that when you promote you get business. Then you forget to keep promoting, and when the first promotion is drying out, (because you did not keep promoting) somebody says “yes we promoted but we did not get so much”. They totally forgot how long ago it was since they promoted!

Another thing is that it also takes some time before the promotion starts to give results! We get so many impressions a day that we are becoming more or less immune to a one time promotion – there needs to be at least 3 of them within a short period of time, communicating the same messages. Then you will start breaking through.

If you do not continue promotions “they simply forget about you”. So here it is, “You simply cannot afford NOT to promote”

We make videos in many different shapes and budgets – get one or many and post them on the internet and/or send them directly to your clients or potential clients.

Nobody can afford NOT to promote.

Monday, March 9th, 2009

The right thing to do right now is PROMOTE.

Nobody can afford not to promote. Particularly with what is going on right now, it’s more important than ever to promote.

So if you have a Gas Station in a small village – The village is hit hard in regards to layoffs and so on, your sales are going down, close by there is a freeway, but you can’t see the village from the freeway. A big hill is covering the view from the Freeway to the Village. One way to get your sales boosted would be to make a deal with the owner of that hill and set up a big sign that reads “Gasoline next exit”. No matter how little money you have, you must PROMOTE.

If you only depend on your own Village, you could go down together with it!

That Hill is called the internet and instead of a sign, you use video and get it posted to more than 25 free video websites like YouTube, Google and so on, let’s talk and make it happen!

Test it with a video that explains/promotes what you can offer.

Video Marketing is like a fitness program!

Wednesday, August 27th, 2008

Video Marketing is like a fitness program – you do the entire program and then loose 10 pounds. There is no trial! If you only go to the gym one time, it will not really help you and you actually wasted your time and cost of the trainer. If you get a program with a time line and follow that, then you get the result.

You can’t afford TO NOT advertise!

Sunday, August 24th, 2008

Communication or advertising is the wrong place to cut down, even if business is not running so well – You simply can’t afford TO NOT advertise or communicate!

Our Video Advertising packet is brilliant for that – You can compare Video Ads, Press releases, social bookmarks & blogs with soldiers that are out in the field clearing and promoting the way back into your messages on your website (and don’t forget to have a clear buy now or how to contact you and get the service displayed).

The field is constantly changing so therefore make sure the soldiers are inspecting the field often and more than once. By submitting your videos to the different video websites on an ongoing basis, you ensure that they will start listening to you.

So why video? Video can be entertaining, give reality on how it looks, can be used, or show there is a real person behind your product and so on. A video is worth hundreds or even thousands of words!

Let’s make a Video Advertising Packet for you click here.

What is wrong with Internet Video Marketing?

Thursday, August 21st, 2008

Video Marketing is like a fitness program – you do the entire program and then loose 10 pounds. There is no trial! If you only go to the gym one time, it will not really help you and you actually wasted your time and cost of the trainer. If you get a program with a time line and follow that, then you get the result.

That is how Video Marketing works.

There is more than one element to a successful Video Advertising program or campaign. All the elements are aligned to each other and work together towards a mutual goal. Do it all the way and you will get a result!

Seven Pictures has gone that extra step to insure that you get the full advantages from your Online Video Ads, by including the following services that your successful Video Advertising is depending on.

Press Release Writing & Submission – Video Submission – Optimizing of Title, Description & Keywords – Blogging & Social Bookmarks.

If you have something to say or sell, COMMUNICATE and keep communicating until they are looking or listening – then make sure you know what to show or say (that is the video) when they look or listen.

You make more than one video. You make a minimum of 3, preferably 10. That’s expensive! NO it does not have to be expensive. If you have a product and you have different samples of happy users, you have material for many videos without traveling around the globe several times. Many times it can be recorded on video within one or 2 days – and then you have your 10 videos all talking about the same product.

The glue to a successful Video Advertising campaign is KEYWORDS presented from more than one angle. You have to know your target keywords so they show up where people are looking for you, your service or product. To avoid drowning on the Internet, you need a big agreement pointing in your direction. Meaning be represented in more than one place and having many places all pointing to you – That is what Video Advertising can do for you, and that is why you need more than one video to be seen.
