Clark Construction

With the presentation of the Q Awards- Nokia Theatre video completed, I wanted to take the time to express my appreciation for a job well done on this project.

I was thoroughly impressed by the caliber of the video. I have heard many comments from attendees of the event and colleagues that they were blown away by the video. It really was an excellent addition to the awards ceremonony. The purpose of the video was fully met and done in a manner that I believe suited the needs of all parties.

There are many elements of this video that made it a success. You and your team were successful in pulling together the right resources to make sure the project was completed om time. We did have a tight timeline, but you brought it together with time to spare. The creative approach to the project was a stroke of genius and brought the video to another level. I felt in the loop as far as the progress of the video and that you were taking care of my project.

I truely felt that Seven Pictures was collaborating with me on this project. From soup to bolts, you made my life easier by doing such a thorough job of producing this video. Thanks to you and your team for your dedication to our project.

Sincerely

INTERNET MARKETING WITH VIDEO PAYS!

Wednesday, July 23rd, 2008

A recent report by the Diffusion Group (TDG) states that although User-Generated online video makes up almost half of all online video streams, it produces no more than 4% of actual revenue. On the other hand, Professionally Generated online video accounts for 58% of video streams and 96% of revenue.

Seven Pictures has expanded their video product line to now include videos produced specifically for the online market. We can help you create a professional video that reflects the quality of your company and do it at a reasonable price.

According to the TDG report, advertising on the internet offers you three unique advantages:

1) Engagement (the ability to interact with the viewer)

2) Measurement (the ability to quantify consumer reaction)

3) Audience tracking (the ability to compare behavior over time)

With this information, companies increase their knowledge of Return-On-Investment, and then can tailor ads for specific audiences.

Clark Construction Acknowledges AEG

Clark Construction decided to do a corporate video for two reasons: To illustrate their participation in revitalizing downtown Los Angeles by building the new Nokia Theater, and to acknowledge Anschutz Entertainment Group (AEG) for spearheading the revitalization project. Years ago, downtown LA had lost some of it’s glitter and AEG envisioned returning it to a bustling and dynamic area. With the participation of many, including Clark Construction, AEG realized this dream. Together, Clark Construction and AEG completed the award winning Nokia Theater, the first in AEG’s Live Development.

To commemorate the event, Clark Construction asked Seven Pictures to create a corporate video highlighting the construction, and as a salute to the vision of AEG. The video tells the history of downtown LA and how Clark Construction assisted AEG in their vision. Click below to watch the Clark Construction corporate video:

Seven Pictures was delighted to share in this project and was honored when Clark Construction wrote to tell them how pleased they were with the video. To view the Clark Construction letter click here:

Online Video a Must for Internet Marketing

Wednesday, July 2nd, 2008

Hollywood, CA. — July 2 – Online video is becoming an important part of Internet marketing. A recent study by eMarketer revealed that ‘recommendations from other consumers’ is the most trusted form of advertising online and according to the Pew Internet and American Life Project, 57% of internet users have watched videos online – and most of them share what they find with others.

The most recent figures for US internet users puts the number at just over 150 million, so some 85 million Americans are watching video online and sharing it with their friends and connections. These finding show that video on your website is no longer just something nice to have – it has become an important part of internet marketing.

Although one might think that the audience fore online video is very young, and they are watching silly videos made by their friends, in fact content such as product information and travel destinations are much more popular with every age group.

And 62% of online video viewers prefer professionally produced content.

“Companies are beginning to realize that one of the best ways to reach people today is with a well-made video distributed online. It’s no longer just something nice to have – it has become a must.” says AC Christiansen, Executive Producer of Seven Pictures Film & Video Production, an award-winning video production house that has made high-end corporate videos, commercials and PSA’s for more than twenty years.

“Your video needs to have excellent content that people would want to share. And although it has become possible for anyone and everyone to make a video and upload it to YouTube, these surveys show that for best results your video should be shot and edited by a professional.”

To meet this new demand for online video Seven Pictures has added a new line of professional video products. “Technically speaking, these short online videos require fewer resources, making a professional digital video very affordable – and very effective,” says Christiansen.

For maximum online exposure and search engine visibility, videos should be syndicated and distributed to social media sites, such as Google, YouTube and Revver.

Part of this new product line is content development, script writing, RSS Feed syndication (so the video gets found by the search engines and is automatically included on sites like iTunes) and distribution to the top 30 video sharing sites.
